Five Original Tunes Lend Insightful Youthful Perspective To Real Life Experiences

Sophomore EP Available Friday, October 21, 2022 Presale/Pre-save Event Set to Begin Friday, October 7, 2022

NASHVILLE, Tenn. Breakout, indie pop recording artist, Graciela (Gr8 Entertainment), is set to release her sophomore EP titled LIVE LIKE THIS.* The personal and honest musical introspective spotlights five reflective and contemplative original recordings signifying the 15-year-old songwriter/ pianist’s talent to pen and perform musical portraits of realistic, mature storylines that touch on difficult personal life experiences. Simplistic, airy vocal performances make room for the emotional translation of poetic lyrics complimented by a melancholy vibe throughout.

The recording project was co-produced by six-time Grammy winner Jimmy Hoyson (Michael Jackson/B.B. King/Red Hot Chili Peppers/The Goo Goo Dolls/Iggy Pop/Green Day) and award-winning composer Rob Deaner (v6 Music + Post) at The Vault Recording Studio in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The EP will be available via all digital retail outlets and streaming platforms Friday, October 21, 2022. (Pre-sale/Presave event begins Friday, October 7, 2022; distribution by Ed Gertler/ Digital Retail Services).

“I’ve grown since my original EP release, both in my songwriting and performance style—vocally and on piano,” said the Pennsylvania native, Graciela. “I learned it takes hard work to record music that you believe in to get it right. I’m thankful for the belief and dedication of my producers, Jimmy Hoyson and Rob Deaner; I do believe we got it right! I hope the listeners agree.”

Track Listing/Introduction:

“Nothing Left To Say”*

“These are my favorite lyrics: ‘you and I will never grow. I swear we’ve done all this before.’”

The array and culmination of musical moments are symbolic of the co-dependent relationship in the storyline and the inner personal struggle to find self-worth in independence.

“To Hold You”*

“I wrote this song for my mom after my pappy passed away. I could see and feel her sadness, but didn’t know how to help her. All I wanted to do was to hold her and tell her it would be okay.”

Featuring special performances by Christopher Wu on violin (Pittsburgh Symphony) and Jerome Kirkland on piano, violin and keys embrace the empathetic sentiment while the tempo change symbolizes an uplifting message of hope.

“Live Like This”*

“This song is about caring enough about someone to let go and learning to let go. My favorite lyric is: ‘no one said it’s better to live like this, use my love to get out.’”

Crystal clear vocals are the focal point while steady building percussion offers forward-moving momentum to demonstrate the “moving on” sentiment.

“Just Friends”

(Graciela/Sean P. Jones/Aaron Kellim)

“This song is about the comfort level and trust established in a friendship. ...A comfort level that is threatened when feelings and intentions are misunderstood or grow far beyond the place you intended, and wishing you could just go back to the place where the relationship began—as ‘Just Friends'.”

The piano opener (performed by Graciela) lends a soft and poignant introduction to a tale of love and friendship lostcasual conversations that lead to handholding and unreciprocated budding affections detoured to the friend zone.

“This track is about feeling like you’ve been a burden in a relationship, and the unresolved emotions that remain when it comes to an end.”

The haunting piano and synth opener build to intensify the culmination of emotions experienced following the conclusion of a relationship; the key change elevates the impassioned storyline.

Gracie appears on piano and harmony vocals (all tracks).
