NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Singer/songwriter and country music recording artist, Bailey Callahan (Pink Mustang Music, LLC), is set to release her newest single, “State Of Mind,”* in early September. Co-written alongside J.C. Anderson and Justin Dukes, and produced by Robbie Artress, the track will be available Friday, September 4, 2020 via all major digital retail and streaming outlets (Amazon/iTunes/Pandora/Spotify/Tidal). The “pedal to the metal,” high-speed track accelerates with rockin’ runaway guitar licks, beams with confident vocals and rolls with “hey-heys” and “ooh, oohs” from a group chorus. The alluded chemistry between “Marilyn” and James Dean heightens the adrenaline of this coastline love story. “The storyline is about falling in love and the clear state of mind where a happy heart can bring you,” Bailey Callahan said. “A churning romance can open the mind and heart to a refreshed point of view. It’s about life’s geography that paves the way to explore exciting roads.”

Lookin’ back, I don’t need to My past, in the rearview Love has a price A roll of the dice Takin’ one mile at a time Hey, baby, what ‘cha say we Meet up on that California shoreline, you’re mine Hey, baby, call me crazy But you’re making me, making me, making me Change my state of mind

As a segue from her previous life chapter to a current place in time, the new release follows on the heels of the Floridian’s recent “so-long, good-bye” track titled “Roll” (Feb. 2020) and makes further evident Callahan’s new-found perspective, feisty confidence, maturity and of her present day “State Of Mind.”

Digital retail distribution and streaming services will be spearheaded by Ed Gertler, Digital Delivery Services.
