Catering to all inspirational music genres and audiences, “Walking In Your Wonderful Light” dances with an upbeat pop groove, complemented by rhythmic percussion and soothing string instrumentation. Rhonda’s crystal clear vocals beam alongside the simplistic production to create an easy-does-it, refreshing listen. The uplifting lyrics share a message of inspiration and hope in a walk with God by our side. The new recording arrives after an eight-year hiatus as a stronger, more powerful representation of the artist’s spirituality, tenacity and drive.

“I WAS CONFUSED, I WAS SEARCHING FOR AN OPEN DOOR, TO ESCAPE THE PAIN INSIDE MY HEART. DIDN’T KNOW WHERE TO START, BUT THEN YOU CAME AND OPENED UP THE DOOR THEN YOU CAME, SUDDENLY YOU WERE THAT SOMETHING MORE. WITH YOUR LOVE INSIDE OF ME, EVERYTHING IS RIGHT, NOW THAT I AM WALKING IN YOUR LIGHT!”

"I initially recorded the track more than seven years ago and then everything in my personal life fell apart. It was a very hurtful, emotional, sad and isolating time in my life," Rhonda Towns said. "Today is a different day! This track is my resurrection song. It is the promise of my Heavenly Father…that HE would bring me back to my true love, and that is to perform and sing for HIM. I learned to trust in HIM, completely and totally, during the process of my healing--while walking in HIS wonderful light. …and I'm ready to share the new music and my heart once again."

Rhonda originally recorded “Walking In Your Wonderful Light” in 2012; she re-recorded the track, with the accompaniment of Jim "Moose" Brown on keyboards, at Sound Emporium Studios, Nashville. The tune is AT RADIO NOW (CDX Volume 683) and serves as Rhonda’s latest installment following three previous single releases and a preview to new music arriving later this year. Regina Raleigh is spearheading the radio promotion campaign.
