Jake Owen Foundation

About The Foundation

The Jake Owen Foundation (JOF) was established in 2010 as a registered 501(C)3 private nonprofit foundation through the vision and effort of Country Super Star Jake Owen

With the early objective to lend assistance to various organizations and charities in Owen’s hometown of Vero Beach, FL, the surrounding Indian River County area, and throughout his home state, JOF quickly expanded its initiatives outside the Sunshine State. Extending its reach to people in the places they call home, the Jake Owen Foundation supports child and youth programs, education, healthcare, fitness, nutrition, enrichment, crisis care, and more.

A national charity with a local approach, JOF has raised more than $8.5 million to date through private donations, brand partnerships, and special events. The foundation has supported a multitude of various nonprofit institutions across the United States, including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN, providing financial resources to children battling cancer and other life-threatening childhood diseases.

“The Jake Owen Foundation is one of the most fulfilling things I have ever been involved with. What matters is, the kind of person you are. Your character …. Your legacy. What have YOU done for others? Music in my life has been great to me but the one thing I will always be most proud of and look back on ….. and be able to share with my daughters ….. are things that compliment your character. Giving back has always been important to me in everything I do.” - Jake Owen
