PRESS RELEASE

NASHVILLE, TN, SEPTEMBER 5, 2011: Several local musicians and bands in Nashville, Tennessee have committed their time and talents to perform at the upcoming KID Benefit Concert (Kids In Danger) sponsored by the Musicians In Action Guild Showcase of Nashville. The concert is schedueld for Friday, September 30, 2011 at 8:00pm in the Celebrity Centre located at 1130 8th Avenue, S., Nashville, across from the W. O. Smith Music School.

Proceeds will benefit the Citizens Commission for Human Rights -- Nashville, an international organization that polices the psychiatric community’s actions.

Tickets are currently being sold in advance at www.cchrnashville.org. There is limited seating, so early purchase of tickets is encouraged. VIP seating also includes special parking for the event.

The concert is being held to promote awareness of the intensifying misdiagnosis of millions of healthy children of having mental disabilities such as ADHA, and the rampant dispensing of controlled drugs, such as Ritalin, to subdue normal childhood energy. With governments around the world -- including the FDA in the United States -- warning against the use of depressants in children under the age of 18, the psychiatric world is failing to heed the warnings and police themselves. These drugs can casue physical and psychological problems in normal, healthy children…even death. Reports compiled showed a marked increase in mental depression, suicide rates, and deaths among school-aged children who have no voice in their prescribed therapy.

Video presentations concerning the dangers of this epidemic will be shown before, during and after the concert, with selected testimony from Nashville parents and adults who have themselves been prescribed Class 2 drugs for ADHA and other bogus mental ills.

We have just added an additional two acts to the concert lineup and to-date, performances include Ross Key Country, Andy Mabe, Karla Davis, Deborah Bishop, Don Hilaker, Garry Jackson, Arti Portilla, Woody Sunshine, CJ Greco, Ronnie Dean Messenger, Jonathan New, Carol Strickland, Tyler Warren, Jamie Wayz & Amy K, Ric Bowers Band, and the Sal Rinella Band.

Tom Wurth is an accomplished singer/songwriter, with a Grammy nomination under his belt and co-writing credits with a long list of acclaimed songwriters. Tom’s musical mission is to strike a chord with the listener while staying faithful to his “salt of the earth” character. True to “T,” Tom’s latest single, “If The Road Runs Out” (a co-write with David Frasier and Bill Luther/produced by Bart Butler and John Ford Coley), is a bittersweet well wishes sentiment from a man who offers an unconditional “goodbye, you’ll always have a place right here” to a loved one exploring new horizons. Tom is an active member of the Nashville music community as songwriter, recording artist and producer. In past months, Tom’s been working behind the board in the recording studio co-producing projects with legendary rocker Eddie Money and “I’d Really Love To See You Tonight,” John Ford Coley (England Dan & John Ford Coley). Both projects feature a special guest appearance by Vince Gill who lent his time and talents on harmony vocals. “If The Road Runs Out” (from the CD by the same name) is on radio now, from Echelon Records, a label headed by Spring Hill Mayor Mike Dinwiddie.

Contrary to her demure appearance and decorous mannerisms, Anna Garrott, the five-foot nothing Troy, Alabama native, is as feisty and sassy as they come. A country performer and songwriter whose musical make-up highlights a touch of Patsy Cline tradition and a brush of Janis Joplin bohemia, Garrott is no shrinking violet. From “Steel Magnolias” country, Anna Garrott’s music chronicles every sentiment--from tender life moments to getting over a broken heart--with bittersweet spirit.

“If you’re looking for sappy love songs, you won’t find them here,” Garrott said.

A marketing major who sang her way through college performing on stages in the Southeast from Panama City to Mississippi, Garrott magnifies her girl power in every spitfire performance. Anna signed to Blue Steel Records and is set to release “What A Way To Go” as her official introduction to country music radio and fans.
