Mark Chesnutt is Newest “Rat Packer” with Tracy Lawrence

Touring isn’t uncommon for country superstar Mark Chesnutt. While his usual hectic tour schedule involves nearly 100 shows a year, he will soon be adding Tracy Lawrence’s “Country Rat Pack” tour to that number.  Mark will join bill with Tracy and Richie McDonald from April 3^rd to August 15^th for five shows. Mark was asked to replace his longtime friend, Tracy Byrd, who announced he would no longer be a part of the tour.

“Tracy Byrd is a very good friend of mine, so when they called asking if I could fill in, there was absolutely no hesitation from me; I said yes,” Chesnutt states.

With shows beginning in Fort Pierce, FL and ending in Webster, MA, the Rat Pack ticket holders are in for a unique musical experience. Combined, Mark and Tracey have more than 30 No. 1 singles to their name. Both country superstars amaze crowds nightly on their own. Combined, the Rat Pack tour will be packed full of classic country favorites.

The tour gives an ecstatic Mark an opportunity to be on the road again with an old friend. “Being a “Rat Packer” gives me a chance to reunite with my old Roadhouse buddy Tracy Lawrence and I’ve always respected Richie McDonald. I just can’t wait,” he said. With four platinum albums, five gold albums, 14 No. 1 singles and 23 top ten singles to his name, audiences will experience a magical camaraderie, which will make for a night to not be forgotten.
